Where it all Started

Hi, I’m Leonie — a creative educator and paper‑craft artist who loves inspiring people to dive into their creativity.

I’ve spent years teaching in craft stores across Perth, sharing techniques, ideas and a whole lot of enthusiasm with makers of all levels. I don’t stick to one set style — I create from whatever sparks my imagination in the moment.

I’ve always loved the vintage, grunge and textured mixed‑media looks of Tim Holtz and Finnabair, and those influences often find their way into my work. From art journalling to beyond‑the‑page projects, I enjoy exploring everything from messy, grungy layers to softer, more expressive pieces. 

Teaching is where I come alive. I love showing people new techniques, helping them build confidence, and watching that moment when something “clicks” and they feel proud of what they’ve made.
My workshops are energetic, hands‑on and full of creative play — the kind of space where you can try anything, learn lots, and have fun doing it.
